THE FINANCIAL  DETAILS:

The Financial considerations are based on an overall commitment to you of approximately 8-10 hours, from the point of initial contact through to the Rehearsal, the Ceremony and the registering of your Marriage which will include and/or cover:

ONE WEDDING CEREMONY

We will be on site for one hour, as per the time posted on the Agreement, aiming to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to that time. This creates some wiggle room in the event of a late start, as the ceremony is approximately 20-25 minutes and we want it to be nice and relaxed for you and for us!

ONE WEDDING REHEARSAL

We like to attend the rehearsal if available, or meet with the Bride and Groom, the week of the wedding. The rehearsal date/time can only be booked/confirmed 4-6 weeks prior to the Wedding and is based on availability. Should you require extra meetings, or rehearsals, there will be an additional charge for the added commitment of time and travel.

OFFICE/ADMIN TIME

There is an average 4 or more hours of office/admin time invested per couple/wedding. Preparing and personalizing your ceremony and related documents (EG. Registry and Certificate) as well as registering the marriage. We provide full phone/email support, answering your calls/emails and any other questions you may have regarding your ceremony, as well as provide Web support with www.heyrev.com and www.365vows.com .

The average couple will call/email at least a dozen times, which we encourage. An E-dialogue is the best and most cost effective way to help you prepare for your ceremony and rehearsal

TRAVEL/FUEL SURCHARGE

This is calculated based on estimated commute time and roundtrip mileage to the Wedding and Rehearsal site from our Cloverdale Home/Office. We have to factor in Traffic congestion and bottlenecks, as well as fuel costs and tolls.  All BC Officiates are entitled to charge for travel/fuel. Expect to pay approximately .48 cents/km or $25/hour roundtrip. EG. Vancouver weddings involve approximately 4-6 hours total drive time to attend the Ceremony and Rehearsal.

COST:   $350.00 + TRAVEL/FUEL  (gst included)

CANCELLATION TERMS

To provide some basic cancellation terms, in the unlikely event that your wedding plans change or

Brent/Tracy Sheppard has a personal/work related emergency.

IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT YOU SHOULD CHOOSE TO CANCEL your wedding and/or

Brent/Tracy Sheppard’s services, or change your wedding date/time or venue and Brent/Tracy Sheppard is unable to accommodate those changes, the deposit/any monies received will be deemed non-refundable. HOWEVER in the event that Brent/Tracy Sheppard is able to book another wedding ceremony for that same date and time, all monies received will be refunded,

less a $100 administration fee.

NOTE: If Brent/Tracy Sheppard is able to accommodate a change of date/time and venue, any monies received may be forwarded to the new and re-scheduled wedding date/time.

IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT BRENT/TRACY SHEPPARD SHOULD NEED TO CANCEL, for whatever reason, the deposit/any monies received will be refunded within 30 days and we will, if possible, refer you to a suitable replacement, but cannot guarantee availability and or replacement.
